Share your story with other foster carers in Northern Ireland today.
The Fostering Achievement team provides a service to foster carers throughout Northern Ireland and is keen to receive feedback concerning the project. Consequently we would love to hear your story of how you and or your foster children have benefited from the project. Examples could be, learning to drive, passing a school exam, increased self-confidence or developing a new skill.
In the first year of the scheme, 638 eligible enquiries relating to 979 children were received from foster carers across Northern Ireland. The range of goods and services provided was extremely varied, including such items as; computer systems, driving lessons, school subject tuition, musical instruments, sports equipment and dance lessons. The intention is that the provision of such goods and services will continue through the project.
